"The absolute WORST State Farm agent and office crew I’ve ever encountered. From the time I moved to kcmo from another state, until now (being rejected for a non-renewal), my insurance rates have increased 3 times. Payton and his terrible office staff tried to advise me first it was because I was switching states. Okay, no problem, that’s understandable. How? I’m not certain. I moved from a much higher cost of living state to kc. If anything my rate should have decreased but, I settled and agreed. Within the first 6 months, my rate increased again and they tried to blame it on myself for not opting into the drive safe auto discount. Okay, another $30-$40 dollar increase. Next, we approach my annual review (second 6 months) and the rate increased again but yet, this time I was told it was due to my zip code and the area in which I lived was one of the zip codes for higher accidents. Okay, sucked that up too as I was preparing for a move and I knew my new zip code would be in a much better area. Changed addresses and noticed a slight decrease. I’ll take it! But that’s NOT even the half of my complaint and/or concern. I am beyond frustrated and upset that I had one (non-fault) accident and State Farm decides to drop me as a client! I provided them with a clear copy of my motor vehicle report, letters from my attorney as proof there is absolutely NOTHING on my record and yet without an explanation, I’m being let go. Payton SUCKS !! Couldn’t even take my calls. And when I did call, he NEVER HAD AN ANSWER OR SOLUTION! My case was handled by Michael who gave me the run around for a whole month and one week and still no explanation! They got the results in regarding my appeal yesterday and do you think they called to even let me know? HELL NO !!! I wouldn’t dare recommend this office to anyone"
